Inside a partner program

What a typical day looks like.

Every session — whether it's an after-school club, a sports clinic, or a break-day camp — follows the same intentional rhythm. Predictable for your families. Easy for your staff. Engaging for kids.

Arrival

Welcome & roll call

Our lead instructor checks every participant in, greets families, and sets the day's expectations and theme.

Warm-up

Game & frontload

A quick warm-up game primes the group, then we remind them of what we covered last session so today builds on yesterday.

Main activity

Skill-building with stages

One curriculum-driven activity built in multiple stages that shift every 20–30 minutes, so it feels fresh, new, and engaging the whole time.

Debrief

Pause & reflect

At the end of every activity — and the whole session — staff guide kids through what worked, what was hard, and how to face problems together or individually.

Same rhythm, every session, every site

The kid's experience

We don't just supervise. We help them grow.

Every activity we run — a basketball clinic, a STEM club, a game of capture the flag — is structured to develop soft skills. We weave social-emotional learning into how we coach, how we set the rules, how we handle conflict, and how we close out each session. Kids don't sit through an SEL lesson. They live it.

Communication

Kids learn to ask for what they need, give clear feedback to teammates, and listen actively — coached in the moment, not lectured.

Empathy & teamwork

Staff model perspective-taking and reinforce it during play. Conflict becomes a chance to practice, not a problem to punish.

Resilience & self-reflection

We don't rescue kids from struggle. Frustration is the lesson — and the debrief is where they turn it into growth.

The Rec Academy method

Frontload → Experience → Debrief → Repeat.

It's the same four-step loop we use across every program — from before & after care to break-day camps. The repetition is the point. Kids start to anticipate the debrief, internalize the language, and bring it home.

01

Frontload

Set clear expectations before the activity starts. Kids know what's expected so they can focus on playing well.

02

Experience

Kids do the activity. Staff coach in real time — modeling empathy and reinforcing values as moments come up.

03

Debrief

We pause and reflect together: what went well, what to improve, how we showed up as teammates.

04

Repeat

Next activity, next session, next week — the loop builds the muscle. That's how soft skills actually stick.

Revenue sharing & what we handle

New revenue, zero overhead.

Every program runs at no upfront cost to you. After the session ends, we either invoice you for your share or send a check — whichever you prefer. Most partners reinvest it straight back into their facility.

Zero Upfront Costs

We provide staff, equipment & curriculum on our dime. You only see money come in.

Revenue Share Every Season

A negotiated split on enrichment, clinics, and camps — paid out after each program ends.

Fully Insured

Full liability coverage for youth programming. We'll add your org to our COI on request.

Marketing Included

Flyers, social posts, paid ads, and pop-up events to drive your enrollment.

Registration & Billing

We run sign-ups, payments, waivers, refunds and parent comms (optional — keep it in-house if you prefer).

Professional Staff

Background-checked, CPR/First Aid certified instructors at a 1:14 average ratio.
