For Medford families

The workday keeps going.
Their day can keep growing.

You need reliable coverage. Your child deserves more than waiting for pickup. Cadet Care brings those two needs together in a proposed school-based program with a familiar rhythm and activities kids can choose.

Our approach comes from Recreation Academy camps, clubs and sports clinics. Cadet Care is the next step—not an established network of care locations. A school partnership would put that approach into the hours before and after the bell.

Medford & the Rogue Valley

Built around your school.

For Medford and nearby Rogue Valley communities, care at school could remove another stop from the family’s day. We would work with each interested school on bell times, age groups, indoor and outdoor space, and the school-break dates families want covered.

No current Cadet Care school? You can still share interest. We review requests alongside the building’s needs before deciding whether a launch is possible.

A proposed afternoon

After school care with a purpose.

A clear routine leaves room for choice. Final times are planned with each school, but the afternoon would follow this rhythm.

  1. 01 · Dismissal

    Check in & refuel

Attendance, a snack and time to settle after the bell.

  2. 02 · Homework

    Start with focus

A supervised block to get assignments started before pickup.

  3. 03 · Enrichment

    Choose their thing

A hands-on club, creative project or coached sports activity.

  4. 04 · Active play

    Move together

Group games and a short reflection on teamwork and effort.

  5. 05 · By 6:00pm

    Head home

An organized pickup and a steadier end to the school day.

Before-school care: typically 7:30–9:00am, with check-in, free play, a structured activity and a walk to class. Both windows flex to the school’s bell schedule.

Included, not added on

Their interests. More room to grow.

The proposed care model includes enrichment participation, with eight clubs across the school year. Activities rotate by age, interests and site resources; kids have a voice in what they do.

STEM & creative clubs at Recreation Academy enrichment programs

STEM & creative clubs

Build, test, rethink. Hands-on clubs turn curiosity into problem solving, from domino engineering and chess to comic creation and drone challenges.

Active play at Recreation Academy enrichment programs

Active play

Ga ga ball, cooperative games and foam-tipped archery give kids room to move, practice teamwork and try something different.

Sports clinics at Recreation Academy enrichment programs

Sports clinics

Basketball, flag football and backyard baseball combine real instruction with practice and play. Kids build skills—not just fill time.

More than supervision

Staff who lead. Kids who participate.

People invested in kids

We recruit people with experience working with children, pay facilitators $17.50/hr and welcome interest from teachers at your school. The site lead would bring professional experience leading kids.

Activities, not hidden extras

Enrichment is part of the proposed tuition model. Children can choose activities that interest them instead of sitting through an afternoon that feels the same every day.

Facilitated, not phone-sitting

Our teaching cycle is plan, facilitate, debrief and grow. Staff submit lesson plans, lead activities on their feet and help kids reflect on what worked and what they can try next.

Our teaching approach

For Medford schools & principals

$25–$45 per child, per month for your school.

Proposed school revenue share, subject to final listed pricing.

Fair family pricing. $0 cost to your school. Your building provides the agreed space; our team runs the program and handles enrollment and billing. Final family tuition and your school’s share belong in a clear written proposal.

Clear financial terms

Family tuition, the school’s share and optional break-day sessions listed in your proposal.

Your building, your schedule

Morning arrival, afternoon pickup and space planned around the actual school day.

Our team runs the program

Staff recruiting, training, daily supervision, enrollment and billing handled by us.

One point of contact

A Recreation Academy contact for school questions and program coordination.

School breaks & days off

School’s out.
Plan beyond the bell.

School holidays and teacher workdays create another coverage gap. School-break and day-off camps can be planned alongside Cadet Care, subject to the school’s space, staffing and approvals.

  • Additional charges—not included in regular care tuition.
  • Pay by the session—only pay for the coverage you need.
  • Those enrollments also earn revenue for your school under the agreed terms.

A clear path to launch

Bring care to your school.
One step at a time.

A parent request starts a conversation, not an enrollment. We agree a launch only after the school, our team and the required approvals are ready.

  1. 1

    Share your school

Parents can register interest; school leaders can request a proposal.

  2. 2

    Plan together

Review family demand, bell times, space, pricing and staffing.

  3. 3

    Confirm readiness

Agree the partnership and complete required site approvals.

  4. 4

    Open enrollment

Share final schedules and tuition once the school’s launch is ready.

Licensing & approvals in Medford

Oregon DELC’s Child Care Licensing Division sets requirements for certified school-age centers in non-residential buildings. We would confirm the applicable license or exemption, staffing standards and inspections for the proposed school site before opening care.

Our team would coordinate filings, inspections and follow-ups with the school. Timing is site-specific: we do not promise an immediate opening or treat enrichment as an automatic substitute for licensed care.

Parents · Make the first move

Bring Cadet Care to your school.

Tell us where before and after school care would make a difference. Your request helps our team understand local interest as we seek school partners in Medford.

We haven’t launched Cadet Care at partner schools yet. You don’t need a confirmed location to share interest—and sharing interest does not commit your family or school to anything.

This is an interest request, not enrollment or a reserved spot. Your details are shared privately with our team to review and follow up about Cadet Care, not to sign you up for marketing emails. Please don’t include personal details about your child.
