The Rec Academy partners with Kirkwood Parks & Recreation to bring coach-led camps, clubs, and clinics directly to Kirkwood Park. We supply the staff, the curriculum, the equipment, and the registration system; Kirkwood Parks & Recreation provides the space and helps spread the word to local families. For parents, that means well-run programs at a place you already know and trust — no extra driving, no guessing about quality. For our partner, it means a high-energy youth offering they don't have to staff or operate themselves.

RC racing, foam archery, drones, and 20+ activities aren't just crowd-pleasers — high engagement is what makes kids fully present, willing to take risks, and open to learning. You can't coach a kid who's checked out.

After each activity, our coaches pause and guide kids through what happened — what worked, what was hard, how they showed up as teammates. Kids don't sit through a lesson. They process something they just lived.
